Abstract

The current research aims to investigate the correlation between organizational improvisation in its dimensions (solution building, intuition, creativity, learning, and risk-taking) and strategic recovery represented by the dimensions (entrenchment, return, and assistance). The research was applied to all employees of the Preparation and Training Department in the General Directorate of Education in Nineveh Governorate by distributing (40) questionnaires and retrieving (34) forms, which represents (85%) of the total researched population. These questionnaires were tested via the statistical program (SPSS) using multiple tests (reliability, normal distribution, arithmetic means, and standard deviations), in addition to testing the research hypotheses based on the correlation coefficient and linear regression coefficient. The research results concluded that there is a significant correlation between organizational improvisation and strategic recovery at both the aggregate and dimensional levels, alongside a significant positive directional effect of the dimensions of organizational improvisation on strategic recovery. The dimensions were sequenced in terms of impact and correlation, starting with the learning dimension in first place, followed by the risk-taking dimension, then the solution-building dimension, followed by the creativity dimension, and finally the intuition dimension in last place, in addition to proving the existence of significant differences among the answers of the researched sample.
